MERCURY RISING

MERCURY RISING - STUDENT VOLUNTEER FORM

We are delighted to bring MERCURY RISING to Magee Secondary School on April 29-30, 2024 and are thrilled that you are interested in volunteering. All volunteers will receive a certificate from the Kimberley Foundation to recognize your service and your volunteer hours will be recorded so that they can be counted toward your school-based volunteer / service requirements.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic students to help us make Mercury Rising a success. No former experience is required, just a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude. To serve as a volunteer for Mercury Rising we ask that you be willing to commit a minimum of 10 hours as follow: (i) attend a volunteer orientation / training session (2 hours) on Monday (Pro-D Day) April 22nd from 1-3pm; (ii) volunteer for one (1) of the event days (April 29 or April 30th from 8:00am to 3:00pm; and, (iii) volunteer one (1) hour towards set up or take down of the event on one of Sunday April 28th morning for one hour, Monday April 29 after school for one hour or Tuesday April 30 after school for one hour. There may also be opportunities (ENTIRELY OPTIONAL) to provide feedback on program design ideas and/or test out program delivery strategies.
