Robotic Fish Monitors Ocean Pollution

A robotic fish, designed by professor Huosheng Hu and his team at the University of Essex, U.K, is detecting water pollution in real time. Equipped with tiny sensors the fish which have been deployed in the port of Gijón, Spain, detect and transmit data about chemical spills, fertilizer runoff and other toxicants.  Learn more.
