New Solar Highway in China

Following the lead of test roads in France and Holland over the past two years, China joined the ranks of other countries, opening its first solar road in Jinan, the capital of the northeastern Shandong province. While other efforts have seen solar roads placed in more rural locations, the Jinan road is major expressway, making it the first solar highway. 1 km in length, the solar highway stretch could generate 1 million kWH of electricity. Learn More !
