2018 – Ms. Maggie Larocque

Ms. Larocque will be attending McGill University studying social and political sciences with the aspiration of going into human rights law. While attending high school, Ms. Larocque has demonstrated her leadership through a Model United Nations Vancouver conference, Delta Youth Advisory Council and countless hours spent volunteering with the Vancouver Food Bank, Canadian Blood Services and coaching youth soccer.

2017 – Mr. Nolan McLeod

Mr. McLeod is currently studying at the University of Victoria in the Gustavson Business Program, pursuing corporate philanthropy. While attending high school, Mr. McLeod has demonstrated his leadership in, compassion for, and service to, raising cancer awareness. Mr. McLeod is an ambassador for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and has worked to raise awareness at events and camps such as Camp Good Times, the RBC Run for the Kids, and Cops for Cancer. His life experiences have set him on his new path at the University of Victoria where he hopes to continue his life goal of encouraging and inspiring people to support childhood cancer research.

2016 – Ms. Morgan Tucker

Ms. Tucker is currently studying at Langara College in British Columbia. While attending High School, Ms. Tucker’s experience in the Rotary Youth Exchange Program in Tlzxcala Mexico in 2014-2015 was transformative. This experience has catalyzed her future aspiration to use her education and fluency in Spanish to work with volunteer organizations in urban and rural communities throughout Latin America upon ultimately earning a medical degree.

2015 – Mr. William Shelling

Mr. Shelling is currently studying at the University of British Columbia. While attending High School, Mr. Shelling demonstrated his leadership in the community as the President of Interact, Vice President of the Student Council, a Senior Member of the Delta Youth Advisory Council and as a member of “Me 2 We”.  While an active leader in his community, he continued to pursue his passions in the performing arts in both theatre and vocal jazz, and was recognized for his academic excellence and outstanding service throughout his High School career.
